Notice on the selection of Xiamen University exchange program (Europe) in the spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year

In order to serve the internationalization strategy of the University and encourage more excellent students to study abroad, the selection of intercollegiate exchange program (spring semester) in Europe (except Britain) of Xiamen University will begin in 2021-2022 academic year.

1、 Application project

Please refer to "Annex 1: List of inter school exchange projects in Europe in the spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year".


2、 Declaration conditions

l The applicant must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate or full-time Master in Grade 1 and grade 2. See Annex 1 "project list" for specific requirements. If the applicant is a graduate student, he / she must obtain the consent of the college and tutor before applying. (if students apply for exchange in the second semester of their senior year, they may have the risk of delaying their completion. Therefore, please make proper arrangements for your overall learning plan when signing up.)

l Excellent academic performance, all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, and good comprehensive quality.

l The applicant must actively participate in various social practice activities, have organizational ability, communication ability and sense of responsibility to serve the society, and be able to adapt to learning and life in the new environment.

l With the family's economic conditions permission, you are suppose to pay round-trip travel, living expenses during study, insurance, medical insurance and other miscellaneous expenses by yourself.


3、 Selection process

l All qualified students can apply to their college / Research Institute. Each college / Research Institute has been screened and submitted a list of recommendations to the international office. The international office does not accept individual students' direct application;

l Our college will recommend candidates in accordance with the quota given by the International Department strictly;

l After our college sends the student's application materials and college receipt to the international office, the international office will be responsible for reviewing the application materials. If the English score or GPA requirements are not met, the international office will reject the materials. Qualified materials will participate in the comprehensive interview organized by the graduate school, academic affairs office, student office and international office. The specific time of the interview will be notified to the candidates recommended by the college.


4、 School application materials

l Application form for overseas exchange projects;

l Transcripts;

l Proof of relevant language proficiency;

Please submit the above materials in triplicate (one original, two copies and three copies of language certificate) for interview. You are recommended to prepare an original English transcript at the same time for submission to the exchange institution when selected.


5、 Deadline for submission of school materials

Please send the application materials and paper version to the international development and international certification office of the school of management (room 320, Jiageng No. 1), and send the scanned copy to Mr. Chen before 11:40 a.m. on September 22. Overdue will not be accepted.

6、 Hint

l Students who want to sign up for the exchange program with language performance requirements, please confirm that you meet the relevant performance requirements (students with corresponding language certificates are preferred during the interview);

l Students interested in participating in the exchange program, please apply for a passport as soon as possible;

l All selected students need to be formally nominated by our university. Please don't contact the person in charge of foreign universities to sign up without permission;

l The current overseas epidemic situation is still full of uncertainty. Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, overseas universities reserve the right to cancel / suspend offline student exchange programs or change online teaching. Please register carefully and arrange your studies reasonably according to your own situation and acceptability.
